Designer: Claesson Koivisto Rune Founded in 1995 by Marten Claesson, Eero Koivisto, and Ola Rune in Stockholm, Claesson Koivisto Rune has emerged as one of Sweden's most notable design studios. Initially established as an architectural office, the studio has diversified to undertake multi-disciplinary projects encompassing a broad spectrum of design. With a remarkable portfolio, Claesson Koivisto Rune has received numerous international awards, including the annual Swedish Design Award on eight occasions. Their architectural language has been described as the epitome of new millennium aesthetics, with representation in various countries such as Sweden, Japan, France, Germany, USA, and Uruguay. Their furniture and product designs have also been manufactured in different countries, including Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, England, Italy, USA, and Japan. The studio has been the subject of five biographical publications, and their works are featured in approximately 130 design and architecture books. In 2004, Claesson Koivisto Rune became the first Swedish architectural office to exhibit in the international section of the Venice Biennale of architecture.
